IMPORTANT: Naming

We need names for the following:
- The four factions (placeholders: good, evil, chaos, neutral. Previously used names: CrestHaven, Nox Aeterna)
- The mainland (The main island. placeholder: mainland. Previously used names: Lordania)
- The northern island (the one that the neutral faction occupies.)

I got a timeline almost ready, I do need the names to make it nicer and refined however.

All suggestions are welcome. I will also give suggestions when I will come up with some.

- Suggestions

Good Faction: Cresthaven, or Crest Haven, is fine.
Evil Faction: While I am not convinced about Nox Aeterna, we can recycle the name or change it a little bit. For example, Domino Aeternum (Eternal rule), Magnus Imperium (great empire), Tenebrae Aeterna (Eternal darkness). They're a little bit more fitting than just "Nox" in my opinion.
Chaos faction: Even just something like "(the) Chaos Realm" could do for this. Else, a hellish-sounding or scary-sounding name should do the job.
Neutral faction: Probably a made-up name. Remember the neutral faction is very mage-strong, so perhaps something that sounds a bit refined, or cool, but has a strong sound.

Island-wise we've got a choice of names, we can either pick an invented, medieval-like name (Vaesan, Rondar) or we can pick a "themed" name (Terra (land), Magna (large)) and keep it such or modify it with other words or endings (terraria).

Tenebrae Aeterna gets one vote ^_^

I like the name.. Tenebrae Aeterna also has my vote.

Any ideas for the Chaos Faction ?

*For now* Tenebrae Aeterna and Cresthave are confirmed for, respectively, Evil and Good faction.
Jack, if you have any better idea for the names, please let us know.

Evil faction: Venenum. Reason: The name itself sounds quite dark, and it means Poison - it's quite fitting.
Neutral faction: The Conclave. No reason, just thought it may be fitting.
Northern island: Frostbluff. Reason: The first thing the sailors/navigators saw was a snow-covered hill/cliff.
Mainland: Lordania is fine. Highland could be another suggestion.

Chaos faction: The only thing I have thought of so far is "the Realm". I would've used Oblivion, but that's already used. I'd have liked to use a name like that, however.
Good faction: Since Cresthaven has been contested, I'll need better suggestions.

Chaos Faction - Chaotic Oblivion?
I'm not sure, my mind isn't too creative at this moment, though I feel as if I need to suggest something.

For the evil faction I liked Tenebrae Aeterna better and also I think we should still Cresthaven but other then that I like your suggestions

I'm personally not a fan of latin or greek names. One can do, but not all of them - but again, that's just my opinion.

I don't really see what the problem would be by using them.

Can we adopt names from games cause if we can then chaos kingdom - Azeroth or Quel Thalas.
Or we can just simply call it the Outlands. Also if your wandering why outlands, cause it like a bad land where people are prohibited to go and all the outcasts of evil go there by that i mean the really really evil people.

we could, but I prefer originality. We can get INSPIRATION from other games, but I am honestly not keen on just ripping names off games - I wanted to avoid that with the Oblivion thing.

I know it's hard to invent new names, but it pays off - it looks good too.

I like how none commented on the new name ideas.
